RECOMMENDATIONS

  1. That County Council authorize staff not to pursue Circular Materials Ontario’s upcoming Request for Proposal for recycling collection services;
  2. And further, that County Council authorize staff to investigate options for the provision of Blue Box collection services for non-eligible sources and report back to County Council;
  3. And further, that County Council authorize staff to investigate the service continuation of Convenience (drop-off) Depots to receive Blue Box materials from eligible and non-eligible sources and report back to County Council;
  4. And further, that County Council authorize the Chief Administrative Officer and the Director of Public Works to negotiate and execute amendments to waste management service agreements with the City of Woodstock and Township of South-West Oxford to reflect the changes associated with the transition of the municipal Blue Box Program to the province-wide common recyclable collection system.

RECOMMENDATION

  1. That Policy 5.42 be amended as presented in Attachment 1 to Report No. HR 2023-06 entitled “Non-Union Job Evaluation and Salary Administration Policy”, effective June 28, 2023.

     

RECOMMENDATION

  1. That By-law No. 6549-2023, being a by-law to authorize the funding sources and mandatory connection for the Oxford County Lansdowne Ave Watermain Extension Project, be presented to Council for enactment.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  1. That By-law No. 6550-2023, being a by-law to authorize the funding sources for the Oxford County Main St Norwich Sanitary Sewage Pumping Station Project, be presented to Council for enactment;
  2. And further, that County Council authorize the transfer of $257,851 (including non-refundable HST) to Stubbe’s Property Development Inc., as part of the 2023 Capital Budget;
  3. And further, that County Council authorize a transfer of $257,851 from the Wastewater – Norwich Reserve to fund the costs being banked against future development properties.

RECOMMENDATION

  1. That By-law No. 6551-2023, being a by-law to authorize the borrowing of funds, in the amount of $30,000 from the Landfill and Waste Diversion Reserve Fund, for the purpose of financing capital projects authorized by Town of Tillsonburg by-laws, be presented to Council for enactment.

Being a by-law to mandate connection to and impose the cost of the water distribution system upon owners of lands within the designated area, referred to as the “Oxford County Lansdowne Ave Watermain Extension Project”.

Being a by-law to impose the cost of the sanitary sewage system upon owners of lands within the designated area, referred to as the “Oxford County Main St Norwich Sanitary Sewage Pumping Station Project”.

Being a by-law to authorize the borrowing upon funds from the Landfill and Waste Diversion Reserve Fund in the amount of $30,000 for the purposes of The Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg – Tillsonburg BIA projects.

Being a By-law imposing special annual drainage levies upon Area Municipalities in the County of Oxford.

Being a By-law to repeal By-law No. 4015-2000 and to enact a new By-law to establish Community Safety Zones on certain County roads.

Being a By-law to confirm all actions and proceedings of the Council of the County of Oxford at the meeting at which this By-law is passed.
